Such features previously were only available on high-end Nokia Nseries and Eseries smartphones and with this announcement; anybody can finally enjoy entertainment while they’re on the go. I’m not really into mobile entertainment but there’s no doubt that it is handy to have a mobile device that has access to TV news while I’m on the go and Nokia 5330 Mobile TV Edition offers so much more than just mobile TV.
Those who cannot live without social media brands such as Facebook, MySpace and YouTube will certainly appreciates Nokia 5330 Mobile TV Edition since it has the necessary social networking software preinstalled. Nokia 5330 Mobile TV Edition even allows users to chat with friends via Windows Live Messenger, Google Talk, Yahoo! Messenger, ICQ, AOL, OVI Contacts and etc.
As for music, Nokia 5330 Mobile TV Edition has plenty. Nokia says that their new slider phone is compatible with Nokia’s Comes with Music service and it means that users will have free unlimited access to lots of tracks.
Here’s something that might disappoint some people out there. It seems that Nokia 5330 Mobile TV Edition will only be available in certain countries. Take note that mobile TV services that meet DVB-H and OMA BCAST standards are only available in Austria, Finland, Ghana, Kenya, India, Italy, Namibia, Nigeria, Netherland, Philippines and Switzerland. Nokia promises more to come soon but that will only happen in the next 12 to 18 months.
